Maria Luigia Gioffrè worked as arts editor for Nova Express Magazine in 2022-23, for which she did realise fashion art editorials in collaboration with brands such as: Missoni, Aspesi, Bottega Veneta, Hermès and others. She wrote editorial interviews, artist’s portraits and collaborated to edit material with artists among which: Bracha L. Ettinger, Ali Blank, Marianna Simnett, Asad Raza.
As a researcher her practice appears in journals and research magazines among which Umanesimo Tecnologico n.6/2025.
Her work as a theatre artist has been reviewed, among others, on Teatro e Critica, Cordelia (October 2022), she has been included with an interview in the catalog ‘The Emerald Book’ of Venice Biennale, Biennale Teatro 2023, where she has been finalist theatre director under 35.
Her review on the belgian theatre company FC Bergman has been awarded with “Dance Rewrite Prize 2025” by Campadidanza Dance Magazine AIRDanza – Associazione Italiana per la Ricerca sulla Danza in collaboration with ANCT – Associazione Nazionale dei Critici di Teatro.
